Yes, this is for all the incoming freshers for the academic year 2010/11. Seniors you may tag along if you don’t mind being outnumbered by our juniors or if you want to makan and have a chat with them while we’re all still in Malaysia =)
Special thanks to Irina Lim for organizing this event. Please RSVP if you would like to join us on Wednesday.

A welcome back social was held for everyone to chit chat and share their holiday stories. However, this time we took a different apporach and picked a theme for it: colour blind. With rendang served with hot steamy rice, what else is better to fill yup your stomach on a cold winter night. Several video clips made by the late Yasmin Ahmad was played followed by a few games.

September 11 was a significant date, and not just for that reason. It was also the day of a makan specially organised for our incoming freshers to meet up and get to know one another! Of course, as it turns out, most of them already do know one another.
The get-together was held at Original Kayu at SS2. It lasted for a whole 4 hours or so, with a group of about 10 freshers staying all the way till the end to chat with us old decrepit seniors.
About 50 freshers out of the 100 or so entrants turned up for the event. There are quite a number of freshers doing A&F, as per usual, and Econs, no surprise there. Also, there were a good number of MORSE students, and a smattering of lawyers to be.
Given the large number of freshers who turned up, it was hence logistically impossible to extend the invitation MSA-wide, though we very much wanted to do so. No matter – the Welcome Raya Social looms ahead – and this time, everyone is welcome!
Well, enough of my prattling – let the pictures do the talking. If you see any of them on campus, do remember to wave and say hi!
