The first ever MSA fresher’s camp held at the Nur Lembah Pangsun Eco-resort was a HUGE success.
A big thank you goes out to all seniors for making this possible and all participants for their awesome participation.
We had an awesome time building our own rafts, jungle trekking, cooking our own lunch, and so much more and I’m sure that through these 3 days 2 nights, we have formed very strong bonds which will last for a very long time.
On top of that, the seniors have also shared their invaluable experience and knowledge with the freshers. Touching on topics such as accommodation, what to expect, weather, packing, and the list goes on.
Overall, I’m sure everyone who attended the camp will agree that we have achieved our objective of the camp which is to form bonds from right here in Malaysia to better prepare everyone for Warwick, because it is a jungle out there ^^
With this, I proudly welcome 24 new members into our MSA family!
P.S. The Champion team for the First Ever MSA Freshers Camp is Team Water!

Yes, this is for all the incoming freshers for the academic year 2010/11. Seniors you may tag along if you don’t mind being outnumbered by our juniors or if you want to makan and have a chat with them while we’re all still in Malaysia =)
Special thanks to Irina Lim for organizing this event. Please RSVP if you would like to join us on Wednesday.
The pre-departure briefing had about 45 freshers this time round, we hope you have had all your burning questions answered, otherwise just shoot us an email to WarwickMSA_at_gmail.com . Please do come for the events below as we have sooooo many things to share with you that will definitely help you get a crystal clear picture of the place that you’re going to spend your 3 years in.
If you’ve missed our pre-departure briefing at the PJ Hilton, fret not – we’ve uploaded the pre-departure material here. AND, you’ve still got the fun events below to help you through!
We hope to see you enthusiastic freshers in the camp =)
The end of the term is very very VERY near and almost everything on campus doesn’t seem to help cheer much! Firstly you get emails from your accommodation tutors regarding the quiet term, then you have your flatmates staying in their rooms more often just to finish up their essays, AND the Copper Rooms Timetable suddenly seems so much emptier! What more with the exams just around the corner and also a much hotter weather waiting to pounce at us during summer! Well, Term 3 is indeed the last term for this academic year and the exams are looming already =(
Wait. Before all that happens, let’s make this term more exciting by having a BBQ party when the temperature is just perfect and when everyone of us is still here! Many of us are either flying back or going travelling right after the exams, therefore we have decided to hold the party before the exams, and as far away from exams as possible =)
So come along! We guarantee you lots of food and lots of fun during the BBQ party, but we need you to come! Now here are the details that you have been waiting for:
Venue: Tocil Wood Field
Time: 4.00pm – 7.00pm
Fee: FOC
Bring: A mat (if you don’t want to sit on the pretty field)
Here’s a map as the venue is not well-known in campus, it will not be a long walk from either ends of the route in red.
NOTE: Constructions are going on near health centre so you may have to go through the car park to reach the route in red:
Directions to Tocil Wood
Please confirm your attendance at our Facebook Event so that we can prepare enough food for everyone.
A second session was held yesterday as a sequence to the previous one. Similar number crunching session and discussion on a case study followed by group presentation was held. This time around two representatives from Deloitte were also present and prove to be useful to answer questions regarding work in the accountancy field. We hoped members found the session useful and extend our appreciation for supporting the event. Here are some pictures! :)
